About Maggie

Maggie Usher is a senior family and couple psychotherapist. She works part time in the NHS as a lead clinician and supervisor. She also teaches on the family therapy training at the Tavistock Centre.

She practises privately in North and central London, working with a comprehensive range of adult, child, adolescent family and couple difficulties; for example, anxiety, behavioural difficulties and separation. She has twenty-five years’ experience of working in this field. She is fully professionally insured and operates within the codes of practice laid out by the professional registering bodies AFT and UKCP.

Her practice has an emphasis on working in an anti-discriminatory  and anti-oppressive way. She is experienced in working with a variety of social and cultural and religious differences. She invites you to let her know of any aspects of difference: age, sexuality, race, marital or civil partnership that you want her to pay particular attention to.
